How to use the Peptide Calculator

The peptide calculator helps you quickly and accurately determine up to which mark on the insulin syringe you need to draw the solution in order to obtain the desired dose.

Step 1: Select the type of syringe

Choose the insulin syringe you use:

• 0.3 ml (30 IU)

• 0.5 ml (50 IU)

• 1 ml (100 IU)

Step 2: Enter the amount of peptide in the vial

Select the amount of peptide from the list.

If your quantity is not present in the list of listed values, select “Other” and enter manually the amount indicated on the vial label.

Step 3: Enter the amount of bacteriostatic water

Select the amount of bacteriostatic water with which you want to reconstitute the peptide from the listed options. If the amount you want to use is not shown, select “Other” and enter it manually.

Step 4: Enter the desired dose

Select the desired dose from the list of suggested options.

If the required dose is not listed, select “Other” and enter it manually.

Warning: Check whether the dose is in:

• mcg (micrograms)

• mg (milligrams)

Choosing the wrong unit of measure can lead to an incorrect result.

Step 5: Press the “Calculate” button

After pressing the button, the calculator will automatically calculate the required amount of solution.

The result will be displayed on a scale that shows exactly up to which mark on the syringe you need to draw the solution to obtain the selected dose.

The peptide calculator is a calculation aid. Always check the entered values before use and make sure you use the correct units of measure (mg or mcg), as well as the correct amount of peptide and bacteriostatic water.
